Native Wildlife Confrontations

We have received some super photos of wild boar interacting with fallow deer in the Forest of Dean, which gave us the idea to start this page highlighting 'confrontations' between wild boar and our native wildlife. After all, wild boar have been away for a while and introductions are no doubt necessary!

As always, please do offer any experiences of your own, and photos are particularly welcome. Email us at British Wild Boar. Thank you.

"While out watching fallow deer this week, to my surprise
a sounder of boar ambled through the middle of the
buck's scrape but the buck stood firm and never moved
off the rut stand. Is this unusual or do they get on,
because people say boar and deer don't mix but these
seem to get on fine there?" Brian Pendrey
