This page is in response to some truly outstanding photographs of free-living wild boar in Britain sent in from professional or gifted amateur photographers. Several are from the Forest of Dean where some of the animals are unusually quite tame. Unfortunately with Defra recently ruling that the wild boar in the Dean will be culled, the surving boar will become fearful of people and a lot more secretive - so get your camera shots now while you can!
