Wild boar work experience
November 1996 - December 2003. Ecologist with the Central Science Laboratory (DEFRA), York, researching free-living wild boar in southern England. Research involved trapping wild boar, identifying wild boar field signs, assessing agricultural damage, habitat selection and use of home range (through radiotracking) and observations at bait stations. Sponsored as a PhD student at the University of Sussex studying wild boar ecology (April 1998 - July 2003).
December 2003 - to-date. Independant wild boar consultant.
